Project Description
This is an ongoing experimental project that I will be turning into an Instagram account. I have been inspired by Alber’s famous book – Interaction of Colour, which was published in paperback in 1971. The book has been in print ever since. The book has been used by generations of artists and designers. I wanted to imagine Alber being alive today and experimenting with colours yet in a modern, digital setting. I have taken images from popular culture, portraits of famous people, images from films and events and by using Photoshop have been able to collect authentic samples of colours, create a palette and then construct images using simple shapes.
